Year 6 Outdoor Education at Chillagoe

My thanks to the Year 6 staff, Outdoor Education staff and the outdoor education specialists who made the Year 6 outdoor education experience so enjoyable. In particular, our thanks to Mr Alan Cummins and his wife who are legends of the Chillagoe caves and spent the week guiding, teaching and assisting our students explore this amazing environment. And yes, some of the crawl spots were a little too small for a largish Principal!

Water Polo at TAS

Great to see the Grand Finals for the Cairns Water Polo Association held at the TAS Aquatic Centre on Saturday morning. Some terrific action in a sport that is growing in popularity. Thanks to our swim coach, Mr Duncan Todd and Jesse from Cairns Water Polo.

 Senior Dinner

What a terrific night for our seniors on Tuesday. The second formal dinner of the year was an enjoyable celebration for all! Thanks to our wonderful dancing instructor, Mrs Kennedy, and Mr Manea, Mr Telford, Mr Osmond and Ms Warren for being part of the evening.
