A key focus of primary education at Trinity Anglican School is fostering a student’s love for learning by developing the foundational skills to become confident and creative individuals.
This is done through nurturing curiosity, openness to new experiences, versatility and encouraging perseverance and optimism when faced with new challenges.
By instilling these qualities, students will develop confidence in themselves, their work and their future.
The wellbeing and support of students is a key focus of educators and support staff at TAS.
The Primary School has a wellness program at each campus – White Rock’s Care and Connect Program and Kewarra Beach’s Kind Kids Program – which are supported by internal and external resources, including pastoral care initiatives, a school counsellor and our very own trained therapy dog (a Dachshund named Kevin).
Students are also taught skills to regulate and monitor their own wellbeing but also those of their peers, creating an all-for-one and one-for-all culture.
TAS provides extensive opportunities for students to engage with their peers, broaden their perspectives and contribute to a vibrant community through co-curricular and enrichment activities. Students in Prep to Year 6 can choose from an extensive list of options:
