Trinity Day 2018

Date: June 8, 2018    Posted by: Sue Wicks

We celebrated our 35th birthday at TAS this week, and were blessed to have Bishop Bill Ray deliver our Trinity Day Service. This was Bishop Bill’s last official visit to TAS, although we hope to see him again before he retires in September.

School Captain Katie Spuler delivered a beautiful speech thanking Bishop Bill for his service to TAS; and there was barely a dry eye in the Bishop Centre during this time.

Congratulations to the Spirit of TAS Recipients 2018 who received their awards at our Trinity Day Service this week.

Ellio Maccoll – White Rock Senior;
Giaan Tippet – White Rock Junior; and
Matthew Elliott-Darlow – Kewarra Beach.

The Spirit of TAS Awards are presented to a student from each campus who best embodies the spirit of TAS. In particular, students whose behaviour and attitude reflects the school’s dual mission of Christian formation and educational excellence, students who strive to reach potential
as individuals and as members of the wider community.

We also celebrate Trinity Day with the might Dash and Tug o’ War, both events hotly contested by the best of the four houses – Darlymple, Kennedy, Leichhardt and Mulligan,

Congratulations to Leichhardt House who won the Tug o’ War this year; and to Mulligan who blitzed it in the Interhouse Dash.

See more photos in our Photo Gallery for Trinity Day Service and the Dash and Tug o’ War.
