Terms and Conditions

This raffle is run by Trinity Anglican School (ABN 60 090 630 149) located at 200-212 Progress Road, White Rock QLD 4870, Australia.  

  1. Entry and Registration: 
  1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. 
  1. Purchase of a raffle ticket is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 
  1. Entry is open to all permanent residents of Australia. 
  1. Entrants must complete (or receive assistance from a Trinity Anglican School Raffle Ticket Seller in completing) their contact details in the section provided. 
  1. Incomplete entries will be ineligible. Complete entries will include a first and last name, an email address and a telephone number. 
  1. Entrants are not restricted or limited to the number of raffle tickets that may be purchased. 
  1. The drawing of the raffle is being conducted independently of all people associated with the conduct of the raffle, therefore Trinity Anglican School staff and families are permitted to purchase tickets in the raffle. 
  1. Raffle ticket sales will commence on Monday 25 October 2021 and conclude on Monday, 15 November 2021. 

 

  1. Raffle Draw Process: 
  1. The draw for the winners will take place on Thursday 18 November 2021 at Trinity Anglican School. Entrants need not be present to win.  
  1. Winning entries will be drawn by electronically through the online platform Random Drawscompletely independent of TAS. 

 

  1. Winning Entries: 
  1. Trinity Anglican School reserves the right to request winners to show proof of identification suitable for verification prior to the release of prizes to winners. 
  1. All winners will be notified by phone and email on Thursday 18 November 2021and the winner’s details will be published on the Trinity Anglican School website on Thursday 18 November 2021.
     
  1. Fulfillment & Delivery/Collection of prizes: 
  1. Prize winners must collect the prize from Trinity Anglican School, located at 200-212 Progress Road, White Rock QLD 4870, Australia. 
  1. The prizes must be collected within 14 days after the winners are drawn. TAS will make all reasonable efforts to locate the winners and deliver the prizes 
  1. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept a prize, or collect within 14 days of drawing, then that prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize. TAS will deal with unclaimed prizes in accordance with the law. 
  1. All entries become the property of Trinity Anglican School. TAS may use entrant information to contact you about news, events and general information in relation to the organisation.  
     
  1. General Conditions: 
  1. The total minimum value of prizes $5,080. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of promotion. All prize values are in Australian dollars. Prizes and values are as follows:  

Beauty prize (total prize valued at over $1,130): 

  • One (1) home teeth-whitening kit supplied by Cairns Dental Boutique, valued at over $350. This prize cannot be redeemed by people under 18 years of age.  
  • One (1) full set of glamour/hybrid eyelash extensions supplied by Baileys Eyelash Extensions, valued at over $120. This prize will be issued as a voucher to the value of $120. 
  • One (1) bath caddy supplied by Split Peas, valued at $60.  
  • Two (2) Maui Jim Sunglass kits from Bruce Mellick Optometry, one (1) female and one (1) male, valued at over $600. 

 

Lifestyle prize 1 (total prize valued at over $400): 

  • One (1) nights’ accommodation at the Sebel Cairns Harbour Lights in standard One Bedroom Apartment, valued at over $250. Prize will be issued as a voucher and must be booked by 11 August 2022, excludes public holidays and the period between 24/12/2021 – 02/01/2022.  
  • One (1) $150 voucher to Ochre Restaurant. This prize will be issued as a voucher to the value of $150 and must be used by March 2024. 

 

Lifestyle prize 2 (total prize valued at over $350): 

  • One (1) gift voucher to Crystalbrook Group from Zappala Diesel to the value of $200. Must be used by specified expiry date.
  • One (1) $150 voucher to Ochre Restaurant. This prize will be issued as a voucher to the value of $150 and must be used by March 2024. 

 

Adventure prize 1 (total prize valued at over $750): 

  • One (1) $500 gift voucher to Down Under Cruises Evolution Boat. Issued as a voucher to the value of $500 and must be used by 31 March 2022. 
  • One (1) $100 gift voucher for Babinda Springs. Issued as a voucher to the value of $100. The voucher is transferable to a sporting club, organisation or person of your choice.  
  • One (1) $150 voucher to Ochre Restaurant. This prize will be issued as a voucher to the value of $150 and must be used by March 2024. 

 

Adventure prize 2 (total prize valued at over $650): 

  • One (1) $500 gift voucher to Down Under Cruises Evolution Boat. Issued as a voucher to the value of $500 and must be used by 31 March 2022. 
  • One (1) $150 voucher to Ochre restaurant. This prize will be issued as a voucher to the value of $150 and must be used by March 2024. 

 

Adventure prize 3 (total prize valued at over $700): 

  • One (1) half-day fishing charter on Copperlode Dam supplied by Copperlode Fish and Kayak, valued at over $400. This prize will be issued as a voucher and must be booked within 12 months of 31 October 2021.   
  • One (1) Canadian Western Riley and McCormack horse saddle donated by the Gale Family, valued at over $300. 

 

Other prizes: 

  • Two (2) Wine Gourmet Chocolate Coffee Biscotti Hamper supplied by Clover Restaurant, worth over $125 each. This prize contains alcohol and will not be released to people under 18 years of age.  
  • Four (4) $150 vouchers to Ochre restaurant. This prize will be issued as a voucher to the value of $150 each and must be used by March 2024. 
  • Two (2) $75 Coles Group and Myer voucher issued as a voucher and must be used within 4 years from September 2021. Supplied by an anonymous donor. 
  • One (1) $100 Coles Group and Myer voucher issued as a voucher and must be used within 4 years from sept 2021. Supplied by an anonymous donor. 

 

Student prize (total prize valued at over $250): 

  • One (1) $250 gift voucher for EB Games supplied by Millyard Family Lawyers. Issued as a voucher to the value of $250 and must be used within 12 months of October 2021. Supplied to the student who sells the most tickets.  

 

  1. Prizes are not transferable unless otherwise stated or exchangeable for cash. 
  1. All images are for promotional purposes only. 
  1. If for any reason the raffle is not capable of running as planned, including (but not limited to) tampering or any other causes beyond the control of Trinity Anglican School, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the raffle, Trinity Anglican School reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle, subject to any direction given under state permit regulations. 
  1. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, civil unrest, strikes; Trinity Anglican School may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation. 
  1. Trinity Anglican School reserves the right to disqualify any person who Trinity Anglican School has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or improper misconduct calculated to interfere with the fair and proper conduct of this Raffle. Trinity Anglican School’s legal rights are reserved to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender. 
  1. Trinity Anglian School accepts no responsibility for any kind of loss, damage or liability suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or incurred by any of the prize-winners in relation to the prizes or the raffle, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The winners release Trinity Anglican School, their related bodies, corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize or the promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of the prizes.
