Principals Christmas Message
Date: December 17, 2019 Posted by: Glen Macpherson
Dear TAS Families
As we come to the end of the year, we approach the time when Christians celebrate the birth of Christ. Many of you may choose to attend church at Christmas time, and I have included a link below that provides service times at most of the Anglican churches in FNQ. It is a great time to reconnect with your Anglicanism and, in a world seemingly overcome with consumerism and “stuff”, it can prompt us to think more grateful, thoughtful and compassionate thoughts when sometimes the world around us seems to be encouraging us not to feel that way.
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” Matthew 2:1-2
Merry Christmas to you and your families. Thank you for your support and encouragement across a wonderful 2019 and I look forward to seeing you all in 2020.
Paul
