TAS recognised among Australia’s best

Trinity Anglican School has started the week on a high with coveted recognition among the country’s top school performers in the Australian Education Awards 2022.

Now in their fifth year, the Australian Education Awards focus on the country’s best schools, principals, department heads and teachers across 28 categories, which include the Australian Primary School of the Year (Non-Government) and the Australian Co-Curricular Program of the Year.

We are very excited to announce that TAS White Rock Primary Campus has been named one of 8 National Excellence awardees for Australian Primary School of the Year (Non-Government) and our highly regarded Outdoor Education program has been named one of 9 National Excellence awardees in the Cocurricular Program of the Year. Both categories feature competition from highly regarded powerhouse schools across Australia, and it is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our community to be considered amongst the best of the best.

A big congratulations to Peter Gazzola and the WRCP team and to Darren Osmond and the Outdoor Education team on their impressive achievements. It is indicative of the continual improvement processes embedded in the school, the wonderful families, a positive culture of learning, and truly outstanding staff.

I hope you are just as proud as I am of our school community being recognised at this level. We may be small, and a long way from a capital city, but we pack a mighty punch.

Warm regards,

Paul
