Cairns Show I
I hope everyone who attended the Cairns Show came to visit the TAS stall and say hello. It has been very busy at the stand – my thanks to the staff and students who have been involved fielding questions from the public.
In the Photography section of the Art Show, congratulations to Sophie Kalkowski-Pope who finished third and to Tegan Wells who received two Highly Commended awards. Well done girls.
Cairns Show II
Great to catch up with Matthew Peacock from the class of ’99 at the Show.
Rosie’s 25th birthday
Thanks Ms Moyer, Lam and and Tayla for supporting the wonderful folk at Rosies – Friends on the Street. This organisation does such a wonderful job helping those less fortunate in Cairns. I know there are a number of TAS families involved in Rosies – thank you for what you do.
TAS Football I
What a team of young champs! It is a lot of fun watching our football teams playing on Saturday at Endeavour Park. Thanks to our parents, coaches and also to senior students Lam, Oliver and Takuma who are coaching teams.
TAS Football II
Great to hear that Andrew McColl spent time in Townsville over the holidays representing FNQ football at the Filippo Mele carnival in the Under 12 FNQ Marlins team. He had a great time, represented Cairns and FNQ with pride and terrific sportsmanship, and saved more than a few goals! Well done Andrew.
