World Challenge Expedition

Date: January 24, 2018    Posted by: Sue Wicks

As you would have seen on social media, our World Challenge Expeditioners had a very successful trip to Nepal. Principal Sjogren received a letter from the World Expedition leader which was quite humbling. He wrote “As a group of young people, the TAS students demonstrated mature attitudes and respect both towards each other and those they interacted with, with levels of maturity well beyond students of a similar age” as well as “Because of the mature attitudes displayed within this group of young people, as the expedition leader, it was a privilege to be part of the team, and a privilege to mentor the students both individually, but also collectively, through team development and leadership processes”.

This is terrific feedback for our students from a highly respected leader who has been in the industry for 40 years. Thank you to Mr Darren Osmond and Ms Sarah Warren for being part of this wonderful experience.
