Swimming State Championships

Date: January 25, 2018    Posted by: Alana Ripepi

Wonderful news for our swimmers. At the recent State Championships, TAS swimming once again finished as the #1 state team in our region. Ella Goddard had a terrific meet, qualifying for 6 finals and medalling 5 times. She also qualified to compete in the Open National Championships in 5 events, an amazing result for a 14 year old. Harriet Grant made 2 finals, as did Flynn Martin, both placing 4th and just missing out on a medal in the 200m Breaststroke. Outstanding efforts from both swimmers. Well done all!
