TAS and KidsMatter
KidsMatter is a mental health and wellbeing framework for primary schools and has proven to make a positive difference to the lives of Australian children.
One component of TAS being a KidsMatter school is the development of a strong school community.
KidsMatter Primary provides the methods, tools and support to help schools work with parents and carers, health services and the wider community, to nurture happy, balanced kids.
In association with the KidsMatter program, the Parent Community Group was formed to welcome new parents to the school community, organise a variety of community building events each year, and provide support for families in times of need.
