Learning. Believing. Achieving – Week 8 Term 1

Date: March 19, 2018    Posted by: Alana Ripepi

Is there something in the water at TAS?

Sometimes, as a school, you are reminded just how great your students and staff really are.

  • On Tuesday in the “regular” mail:

  • On Wednesday in the Courier Mail:

Friday at WRJ

On Friday morning last week, I was able to stop in and watch Ms Thomas do their spelling words, which was a lot of fun. In the afternoon the students ran the Assembly and the Year 3’s presented on their camp. Well done everyone!

Swimming Dinner

Congratulations to the TAS Swimming Committee, parents, coaches and swimmers on a wonderful night last weekend, where we celebrated another remarkable season. I was honoured to be invited along to the evening where the club celebrated FNQ short course, long course and being rated the best Queensland regional club. There is a wonderful supportive and positive atmosphere in this club that obviously has led to incredible success. Well done all and special thanks to head coach (and MC extraordinaire) Duncan Todd.

A reminder when it is raining …

The drain in Leichardt Rd to the west of the school driveway pops open and spills over into the gutter when there is too much rain. Be careful if you park or walk nearby.
